Water Tech Pool & Spa is a company that was started in 1980 as a partnership between Bob Wood and Armand Gauglitz. This company is a pool and spa service repair, maintenance, design, and installation company that service pools in Dallas, Garland, Plano, Rowlett, Rockwall, Royse City, Hunt County, and Kaufman County. Water Tech’s mission statement is to “provide excellent, on-time and reliable service to keep your pool and spa in top shape.” The company is family-owned and operated, and take great pride in the quality of their work and the happiness of their customers.

Job Description:
My job this summer for Water Tech was tailor-made by Glynnis Wood based on their needs as a company and my interests and what would be considered beneficial takeaways for the type of career I want to have after graduation. My position responsibilities included:
Designing social media strategies to achieve marketing targets
Managing, creating, and publishing original, high quality content on social platforms
Facilitating client-company communication
Communicating with industry professionals to network opportunities
Establishing mutually beneficial relationships amongst Water Tech and other entities
Assisting in pool design to maximize leisure and recreation experience
Requirements/Qualifications:
Presence and knowledge on social media platforms
Good multitasking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Leadership qualities
Honorable ethics

Access to certain pool-centered recreational areas that are partners/clients of Water Tech
Company Truck (Ford F-150 with company detailing/promotion) for duration of internship
